Property description

The space

This charming cottage has a lovely, well-equipped open-plan kitchen and living room with a fantastic woodburner, smart TV and two sofas. Off the living room is a dining area with a utility room next to it benefitting from a washing machine, butlers sink and a wet room with a shower and WC.

Upstairs there are two characterful bedrooms, one king size with en-suite bedside tables, a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a second with a zip and link bed that can be made up as two singles or a king with a bedside table and chest of drawers. Please let us know in advance of your stay how you would like the second bedroom made up.

Outside there is a large, enclosed back garden with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and a pond, perfect for enjoying a family meal with a glass of wine during the summer months.

Ground Floor:
Well-equipped kitchen with oven, gas hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, kettle, storage and sink
Dining room with two benches and a dining table
Living room with wood burner, two sofas and a smart TV
Utility room with butlers sink and wet room with shower and WC

First Floor:

The property was difficult to identify in the dark as there was no name or number to show we had reached the right house...out of a row of 3-4 properties. The downstairs shower room was a wet room, with a toilet inset. The toilet had become separated from the wall and was not heated, so unusable in the winter. The kitchen was ok - the hob and oven worked well but needed a few more things (baking trays, better selection of glasses that are of the same size). The lounge was good and the log burner worked really well. The bedrooms were warm, but the king-size bedroom lacked any form of clothes hanging. The king bed was very comfortable and the en suite bathroom was good. Very quiet and peaceful, with stunning views and local walks, made the stay memorable. I would go back—but in the summer!
