Bury St Edmunds-based photographer Tom Soper began his career in 2010 whilst living in Singapore. During his five years in Asia
he travelled the region shooting
landscapes and portraiture, working with a wide range of clients. He worked in studios,
boardrooms, classrooms, in the desert, in the snow and even underwater.
Tom’s most satisfying work has been for the not-for-profit sector. He has shot for organisations such as The Special Olympics Winter Games, the Singapore Cancer Society, Virgin Unite and Spirit of Soccer in Laos, a charity which works to educate local people about the dangers of unexploded ordnance. In addition to his commercial work, Tom also works on personal projects. One involved taking portraits of Singapore residents who were all born in different countries. This 50th anniversary project, celebrating Singapore’s diversity, was published in November 2015.
Tom is currently working with clients such as The National Trust, local schools and the town’s new official tourism brand, Bury St Edmunds and Beyond. tomsoperphotography.com Call 07544 944 121.
