We arrived to find that the Key box code was different from the one that we had been told to use, thankfully this was rectified by a call to the agent - communication could of been better regarding this. We were slightly disappointed that the property was not decorated for Christmas, we normally book a cottage over Christmas and this is the first property that we have stayed at that has not been decorated. The property was warm and clean throughout with plenty of hot water - a shower tidy in the shower would be a welcome addition. The kitchen is well stocked with Pans and utensils and the sofas and beds are comfy. Overall The Stables is a lovely property set in a quiet and rural location, but be aware that there is some plane noise as it is situated under the Stanstead flight path but this would put us off booking again.

The accommodation was well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The surroundings are beautiful. A perfect setting for exploring and relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay.
