Giant bee skep
I made this for the Chatsworth House Garden show last year. It was a border designed by a lady in Suffolk who wanted to create a bee friendly garden, so I made the skep about six feett high and we made bees to attach to it.
She also wanted a gap so that the plant could peep through near to the base.
It took several days to weave and I used a particular type of weave to create the appearance of a traditionally coiled skep. The willow was from Somerset.
