Holiday lets terms and conditions – Dogs

We have a few simple rules that we ask pet owners to abide by during their stay

Important information before your dog-friendly holiday.

Many of our properties are located in beautiful rural locations making them ideal to bring your dogs for a nice long walk or just to enjoy a private garden. It is of the paramount importance to us that our properties are maintained to the highest possible standard both for your stay and for future guests. To help us keep our properties looking their best and for your safety, the safety and security of your pets and others around you, we have a few simple rules that we ask pet owners to abide by during their stay:

Code of conduct

  • Dogs must always be kept under proper control and supervised at all times.
  • Dogs may not be left alone and unattended at the properties at any time.
  • Not all gardens and outside areas can be guaranteed to be completely ‘escape proof’ and therefore it is advisable to keep your dog on a lead. For assistance on finding a property which suits your needs please contact us.
  • Dogs are not permitted in bedrooms or on any furniture, especially soft furnishings. Therefore we advise that dog owners bring baskets/bedding with them for use during their stay.
  •  Guests must clean up after their dog both inside and outside the property. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning charges being incurred.
  • If it becomes evident that dogs are causing a danger or nuisance to neighbours this may result in the stay being terminated early.

Properties with shared gardens

In some cases, 2 or more properties may have access to the same garden space and as a result extra care should be taken to ensure dogs are kept under control at all times for their own safety and the safety of other dogs and people, particularly children. Owners should take every reasonable precaution to ensure their dogs do not pose a threat to others or cause intimidation to other guests or pets.

Prohibited Breeds

In the interests of safety, we regret that the following breeds, as classified by the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted at our properties:

Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro

For any queries or to discuss your requirements in greater detail to aid you in finding the most suitable property please call 01787 888698 or email [email protected] and one of our team will be in touch.

Thank you for your co-operation.
