St Nicholas Hospice Care's Sunflower Memories

Sunflower Memories will take place on Sunday, 16 August, from 1-4pm in the hospice’s garden at its Hardwick Lane site, Bury St Edmunds. The event offers a quiet space for reflection, where people can honour those they miss and spend time remembering them.

As part of the activity, supporters are invited to dedicate a sunflower in memory of someone important to them. Each sunflower will be displayed in the hospice’s garden with the person’s name, creating a shared space of remembrance surrounded by flowers and nature.

Guests attending the event will be able to find their sunflower, spend time in the garden, and enjoy refreshments while walking through the display. The sunflowers will continue to be on display at the hospice after the event, giving people the opportunity to visit again.

Donations made as part of Sunflower Memories will help fund the hospice’s care for patients and their families, whether that is on the ward or in people’s own homes.
