The property is situated in the most idyllic spot, nestled between the Grade I listed Holy Trinity Church and the stunning Trinity Hospital (now almshouses). In addition to its amenities, Long Melford is nestled within beautiful countryside with plenty of footpaths out through farmland and land belonging to two stately homes, Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall – both of which periodically open to the public and are well worth a visit.

Within easy reach are a number of other historic villages including Lavenham, one of the best preserved medieval wool towns in England, Clare which is the smallest town in Suffolk and the nearby Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. Sudbury is a thriving market town just a 5-10 minute drive away with plenty of shops, visitor attractions and restaurants and train line links into London and beyond.
